Hülya has been an international sustainability expert for over 15 years. She is a Partner at Portland Private Equity and actively works with portfolio companies on their Environmental, Social and Diversity performance. Hülya also leads Portland’s Gender and Diversity Investment Program as well as Impact Management. She is also active within 2XGlobal, a gender-lens investing organization, co-leading the Gender and Climate Community of Practice. Hülya has also consulted for the World Bank and DEG evaluating the environmental and social performance of financial institutions, and worked in PwC’s sustainability and development cooperation teams. Her experience in the energy sector includes wind, solar and hydro projects throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and other regions.
