Adam is a Managing Director at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited, and head of the Investment Banking team covering the Caribbean region. Adam brings over 14 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience with him, working in both Canada and the Caribbean over his career. At CIBC FirstCaribbean, Adam has taken lead on the structuring and execution of several high-profile and award-winning transactions for the Bank’s clients, including several Power, Utility and Infrastructure transactions, and in particular renewable energy project financings.

Adam and his team have originated and executed over US$6 billion in various financing and advisory mandates, including several regional and international, structured financings. He has also led the Bank to be the recipient of two global awards – the 2016 ‘North America Port Deal of the Year’ by IJGlobal; and the 2017 ‘Best Project Financing’ by the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum.

Prior to his role with CIBC FirstCaribbean, Adam spent several years in Toronto, Canada working with a global investment bank and a Canadian private equity firm targeting private infrastructure assets across North America and Europe. In these capacities, Adam has worked on a variety of global infrastructure mandates, with a particular focus on M&A, project financing and capital markets transactions.
