Rose is a Regional Head at UK Export Finance (UKEF), leading UKEF’s international business development activities in the Americas (including the Caribbean), Eastern Europe and Central Asia. UKEF is the UK’s export credit agency with a mission to ensure that no viable UK export falls for lack of finance or insurance. UKEF supports long term economic growth and complements the private sector by providing competitive financing when you buy from the UK. This can be in the form of loan guarantees to banks, insurance to exporters and supporting or providing loans to overseas buyers. With a UK content requirement of 20%, UKEF has a competitive home export content requirement providing flexibility to international sponsors with respect to procurement decisions. UKEF supports exports for any size of company and across all sectors, from capital goods to services and intangibles such as intellectual property. Before joining UKEF, Rose has held positions across the UK government including the Department for Education and the Department for Work and Pensions where she has advised on large-scale domestic policy changes and international programmes.
