Rito Évora is the National Director of Industry, Trade and Energy, having already acted as Director of Energy and Executive Director of the Independent Multisectoral Regulatory Agency of Cabo Verde. He has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, working in the coordination, design, development and implementation of regulatory models and energy policies formulation and planning, reform of public utilities, renewable IPPs development and Electric Mobility. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and an Interdisciplinary Master Degree in Energy.
