Ambassador Brian Challenger has a long involvement with energy related policy in Antigua and Barbuda and the OECS and currently serves as a Policy Adviser on Energy to the Ministry of Public Utilities, Civil Aviation, Transport and Energy in Antigua and Barbuda.

With training and experience in a range of areas, he has previously served as his country’s non-resident Ambassador to Venezuela and Brazil as well as chief executive at a leading regional airline.

Ambassador Challenger has also done substantial work in climate change including serving as a Lead Author for the IPCC’s Third Assessment Report.
