Mrs Zilta George – Leslie, recently appointed as the First Female CEO of WASCO. Mrs George- Leslie brings to the role nearly two decades of experience within the company. She Joined WASCO’s leadership team in 2003 as the Customer Service Manager, leading a team of 99 employees. Her most recent role was that of Officer in Charge, a key leadership position in the company. Today as CEO, Mrs George-Leslie brings a wealth of institutional knowledge and demonstrated leadership skills.
She holds a Diploma in Agricultural Studies from Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agriculture and Forestry – Trinidad, followed by a BSc in Management Studies and Sociology with Honours ( double major), from University of the West Indies St Augustine. She continued her academic success, earning an MSc from UWI in Industrial Sociology. During her tenure as the Customer Service lead at WASCO she expanded her qualification base and is SHRM Certified. She is currently pursuing her PMP certification. Mrs George – Leslie has undertaken extensive management training including those from Dale Carnegie and Franklyn Covey institutes. She has also represented WASCO on the Development Control Authority and the St Luca Hospitality and Tourism Association.

We risk life and limb at times to create connections and give access to a safe supply of water to every community. Mrs. George – Leslie is a proud Saint Lucian with deep familial roots in the national community. She is a strong Roman Catholic, a dedicated wife and mother of three children. Mrs. George – Leslie sees her new role at WASCO as “an opportunity to contribute at the highest level to the improvement of the standard of living for all our citizens and deepen our connections.”
