Mr. Luther St. Ville is a national of the Commonwealth of Dominica. Armed with a Master’ Degree in Agricultural and Rural Development from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, and over 25 years-experience in his field, Mr. St. Ville is committed to driving positive change in the agricultural landscape in the Caribbean. He has a passion for sustainable development and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of farmers and agriculture entrepreneurs in the Caribbean. Currently serving as Senior Operations Officer (Agriculture) at the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), he directs groundbreaking interventions in the agricultural domain across the Bank’s nineteen borrowing member countries. As part of his role, he leads multidisciplinary teams in formulating innovative policies, strategies and innovative projects addressing critical challenges and fostering socio- economic advancement throughout the Caribbean. His expertise, combined with his genuine passion for sustainable development, continues to drive him in his quest to support the development of a thriving, resilient, and prosperous Caribbean agricultural sector.
