Manager, Regional Business Development


Aribeca Cazaubon currently holds the position of Manager, Regional Business Development at National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago. In this role she is responsible for the company’s business development thrust into regional markets as well as driving the delivery of National Energy’s expanded mandate for the export promotion of Energy Services, under the direction of the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI).

Prior to this role, she was an integral member of the Sustainable Energy Development Division in the position of Business Venture Manager, tasked with conceptualisation, promotion, and appraisal of renewable energy projects as well as facilitation of investments and negotiation of essential contracts for project advancement, including project development agreements for new petrochemical project and steel processing facility (US$ 200 Million to US$ 850 Million).

Aribeca has been with National Energy for the past eleven years and has been directly involved in promoting and developing projects spanning petrochemicals, metals, energy efficiency, the solar energy value chain and other emerging energy technologies. During her tenure she has also been the recipient of National Energy’s Third Place Top Performer Award and Top Team Awards. Prior to joining National Energy, Aribeca served as the Lead Process Engineer at a prominent multinational EPC firm in Trinidad and Tobago. She held responsibility for technical oversight of the company’s engineering deliverables, completion of bid proposals and adherence to safety and quality assurance practices.

Aribeca continues to deepen her engineering and project development skills through her membership in the University of Trinidad and Tobago’s Industrial Advisory Board and as a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Associate Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

Aribeca holds an International Master of Business Administration from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.
