Simon serves as Head of KPMG’s Advisory business in the KPMG Islands Group. This encompasses offices in The Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, English-speaking CARICOM countries, Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. He has 31 years’ experience with KPMG. He was the sponsoring partner for the development of KPMG’s Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare services in the aforementioned jurisdictions and continues to work in this space across a variety of projects.

He has advised public and private clients in the region in a wide range of social and economic infrastructure sectors. This includes airports, container ports, cruise ports, power including renewable energy projects, communications, solid waste, water and wastewater. In terms of social infrastructure projects, his experience includes National Health Insurance in The Bahamas, for which he has been lead partner since 2016, mental health strategy and facilities, hospitals, and education.

He has led engagements advising on the full life cycle of infrastructure projects, including strategic and business cases, policy development and consultations, legislation, PPP procurement processes, business strategy, financing, bid preparation, financial feasibility, M&A, IPOs, Bond issues, restructuring and sale of assets.

He has also co-sponsored the development in recent years of KPMG’s Digital and ESG services in the region and sits on the KPMG Islands Group Executive Committee.

He is a member of the Council of the Bahamas National Trust, and Chairman of the Lyford Cay International School in The Bahamas, a non-profit private school offering all 4 International Baccalaureate programmes from Kindergarten to
