President
Xavier Gordon is Chief Technology Officer and Deputy Chairman of Hyperion Xergy (HX), an electric mobility project developer based out of Bridgetown, Barbados, and the President of Xergy Energy (XE), a clean energy consulting and development firm based out of Toronto, Canada.
Xavier’s skillset was first honed at General Electric (NYSE: GE Rev: $121.7B, Mkt Cap: $86.9B), taking progressive roles in engineering and management, where he was responsible for project teams in the manufacturing of large AC / DC motors and wind turbines. Following his overwhelming passion to explore the clean energy industry, Xavier became a certified solar PV installer and designer and ultimately began building the groundwork for Xergy Energy.
XE began sales in Solar PV systems and quickly became well known for quality design and high-end installations. The company was one of the first in Ontario to secure long-term Operations and Maintenance contracts for hundreds of already built solar systems in the province. This long-term work allowed XE to scale and develop valuable utility relationships that ultimately led to the opportunity for developing electric vehicle charging networks for utility and municipal clientele in Ontario.
Since 2017, Xavier has led XE and HX into the Caribbean marketplace with projects and contracts in 6 countries: Jamaica, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Bermuda, Belize, and Guyana.
