Monique French is the Chief Credit Officer of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank. She has extensive regional experience in the Financial Services industry and has held leadership positions in Banking, Risk Management, Treasury, Sales & Trading and Reporting & Analytics. In her career she has amassed depth of expertise across the retail, small business, corporate, sovereign and private banking segments. Monique is a CFA charterholder in addition to holding BSc & MBA degrees, the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation, and is completing the Canadian Securities Course (CSC). She has served on boards, industry and economic committees and is currently a Director of the CFA Society of Jamaica and Chair of its Governance Committee.
