Dr. Maurice McNaughton holds a PhD in Decision Sciences at Georgia State University and has over 20 years senior management and leadership experience in the planning and direction of enterprise-level Information Technology in organizations. He is currently Director of the Centre for IT-enabled Innovation at the Mona School of Business & Management, UWI.

Dr. McNaughton’s current research interests include the areas of Open/Big Data, Mobile Financial Services, and Digital capacity building. He serves the public sector in several capacities, including as Chairman of the National Information Systems for Health Steering Committee, a member of the National ICT Advisory Council and the Board of the Overseas Examination Commission.
