Brian is a Lead Investment Officer, Infrastructure at IDB Invest, which he joined in 2016. He is responsible for originating and structuring financing operations in the transportation, energy, water and sanitation, and social infrastructure sectors. Brian has been part of the IDB Group since 2008, and this has enabled him to acquire extensive experience as Lead Officer, Resource Mobilization, for the infrastructure and energy sector. Before joining the IDB Group, Brian worked seven years at various commercial banks as an associate and director of commercial real estate structured finance in Spain and the United Kingdom. The last position he held was as a director for the Iberian Peninsula. Brian earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) (Spain) and an undergraduate degree in business management from North Carolina State University (USA).
