Mr. Deidrick assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Airports Authority of Jamaica (AAJ) and NMIA Airports Limited (NMIAL) in March 2015. Joining the organization in 2005 as Vice President Finance, in subsequent years, the Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Human Resource Development & Administration (HRDA) functions were added to his portfolio responsibilities. In his capacity as President & CEO Mr. Deidrick directly manages the Norman Manley International Airport, the Ian Fleming International Airport, and three domestic aerodromes (Tinson Pen, Ken Jones and Negril), in addition to overseeing the concession management of the Sangster International Airport which is operated by MBJ Airports Limited a private consortium.

Prior to joining the AAJ, he held several senior financial positions in various organizations, spanning industries such as manufacturing (Carreras, Nestle), insurance (Dyoll), and land transportation (Transport Authority).

Mr Deidrick has also served on several Boards in the public and private sector over many years, and is currently serving as a Director on the Board of the Ports Security Corps, President and Board Chairman of Palisadoes Co-operative Credit Union Limited, President of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew, and a member of the Marketing Committee of the Jamaica Tourist Board. He has served on the Board of Airports Council International-Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) and is currently serving as a member the Editorial Board for the international publication Journal of Airport Management publication.

A proud Clarendon College alumnus, Mr. Deidrick subsequently pursued undergraduate studies for a Bachelor’ Degree in Accounting (UTECH) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Mona School of Business, UWI. He also attained the prestigious designation of International Airport Professional (IAP) from the Airports Council International (ACI) / International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) sponsored Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP).

His most recent career achievement is the successful completion of the public private partnership (PPP) transaction for the operation of the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA).

Mr. Deidrick is an avid enthusiast of football, athletics, and cricket.
