John Hadad is a Trinidadian born entrepreneur and businessman who co-founded HADCO Group with his 2 brothers in 1992. He is currently the co-Chief Executive Officer and serves on the Board of Directors of all companies within the HADCO Group.

John is a transformational leader who guided the HADCO Group’s development and expansion over the past 29 years. He is results oriented, synergistic, and together with his 2 brothers, has built the business into a thriving conglomerate that consists of six divisions: Electrical & Lighting, Food & Beverage, Wine & Spirits, Logistics & Services, Manufacturing and Recycling. HADCO Group operates 20 companies (16 in Trinidad, 1 in Barbados, 1 in St. Lucia, and 2 in the USA) and employs 1,000+ employees.

Prior to co-founding HADCO Group, John was a Wire Logging Engineer at Schlumberger International for 5 years.  

John is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Malta, since 2016. In 2020, John joined the Board of Directors of Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago. In 2021, the Roman Catholic Archbishop appointed him as the Chairperson for the Institutional Advancement Committee for the Archdiocese of Port of Spain.

John attended St. Mary’s College in Trinidad and then Queens University, Ontario, Canada, where he graduated in 1985 with a BSc in Engineering Physics. John, a believer in continuous learning, completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2016.

An avid nature lover, John can be found on weekends hiking through the diverse landscapes and tropical rainforests of Trinidad & Tobago. He is actively involved in promoting the steelpan as a musical instrument and developing the craft of pan-making. At the core of John Hadad’s principles are the family values instilled in him by both his parents. John is happily married and has one son.
