As Executive Deputy Chairman for Chukka Caribbean Adventures, John now has over 30 years of experience in the tourism sector and 15 years in Banking and Finance. He has played an integral part in the Group’s expansion, now as one of the leading nature adventure operators in Jamaica, Belize, Turks & Caicos, Dominican Republic and Barbados. He continues to work diligently to expand and enhance the CHUKKA brand as one of the managing partners. In 1988, John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Florida International University. His post graduate career began in Kingston with Industrial Commercial Development Ltd and later PanJamaican Investment Trust, before moving back to his home base in Montego Bay to start a family business called Lets Investment in 1993. He currently sits on the boards of Margaritaville, Cargo Handlers, Jamaica Tourist Board as Deputy Chairman, VP of Private Sectors Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) and Director of Jamaica Vacations (JAMVAC). He is also the Chairman of the Destination Assurance Council – Montego Bay Chapter. Most recently, John has been appointed Chairman of the COVID-19 Resilient Corridor and has served on the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Task Force.
