Vandana Mangroo is the Founder and Managing Director of Hello Green, and co-founder of Close the Loop Caribbean. She is recipient of the 2018 “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” (Startup Category) Award, 2020 bPTT’s “Best Carbon Sequestration Project” winner and 2022 CARIRI’s Shaping the Future of Innovation (Call 1) Grant Awardee. She holds a Bachelor in Commerce (B.Comm) from Ryerson University with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Finance; and Master’s in Small and Medium Enterprise Management MSMEM (Hons.) from the UWI. She is also certified in Principles of Waste Reduction, Recycling and Solid Waste Management, from SBCS; and Digital Automation in Warehouse and Inventory Management, from SHEL Caribbean.

Vandana is an advocate for environmental policy and has worked with various public and private stakeholders such as the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS), the Ministry of Planning and Development, the Inter-American Bank (IDB), SWMCOL, IAMovement, CARIRI, EuroChamTT, TRIBE Carnival amongst others.
