Commonwealth National Climate Finance Adviser to Antigua and Barbuda


Sasha Jattansingh is currently the Commonwealth National Climate Finance Adviser to Antigua and Barbuda with the Commonwealth Secretariat through its Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub, which seeks to unlock and enhance access to climate finance in the most vulnerable Commonwealth member states. Sasha holds Masters’ degrees in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom and Environmental Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto, Canada. She brings with her over 13 years of diverse experience in the Caribbean in the public sector, civil society sector and UN system on environmental policy and governance specifically in the areas of climate finance, adaptation and mitigation sustainable livelihoods and participatory environmental governance. Sasha is passionate about exploring how new, sustainable and innovative finance mechanisms can build climate resilience of vulnerable communities and people as well as ensure healthy and resilient ecosystems in the Caribbean.
