Dr. Joth Singh is the Institutional Partnerships Director within TNC’s Caribbean Division.  His responsibilities include building/strengthening partnerships, public financing and policy. He has worked internationally, regionally within the Caribbean and at the national level in Trinidad & Tobago in a wide range of environment and development areas.  These areas include sustainable financing, climate change, environmental management, environmental health, coastal zone management, animal welfare and conservation, protected areas management, and water resources management.  He has also worked across a range of senior positions and organizations including as Technical Director of CARICOM Caribbean Environmental Health Institute, Executive Director of the Caribbean Conservation Association, Department Director at the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Chief Executive Officer at the Environmental Management Authority of Trinidad & Tobago, Program Development Specialist/Environment Specialist at the United States Agency for International Development, and Climate Change Programme Manager at the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund.  He has made significant contributions to the climate change efforts in the Caribbean. He holds an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of London, a Ph.D in Environmental Chemistry from the University of the West Indies and was an Post-Doctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University/Bedford Institute of Oceanography.
