Maarten has over two decades of experience as a leader in telecommunications and consumer services. Most of his career has been spent developing projects in new areas of business or in emerging markets – most recently in Haiti, where he has worked since 2009 as CEO and then Chairman of Digicel Haiti, the country’s largest telecommunications provider. Besides his role with Digicel, Maarten also co-founded sûrtab, Haiti’s largest manufacturer of electronic tablets, in 2012.
