Roger Todd is the Director of Public Transportation for the Government of Bermuda, with responsibility for the public bus service (www.gov.bm/department/public-transportation). The department operates a fleet of 105 buses providing island-wide service, 18 hours a day.

Roger is a champion for innovation and sustainability. He is driving modernization of the public bus service with emphasis on greening, accessibility, digital fare media and real-time passenger information. He previously held the position of Vice President of Power Generation at the Bermuda Electric Light Company, where he led electric vehicle studies and the conversion of the Bermuda’s street lighting to LED technology, with integrated GPS controls.

He holds a masters’ degree in Power Engineering from Loughborough University and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, UK.
