Dr. Guðjón H. Eggertsson is the Head of Reservoir management at HS Orka, a leading geothermal energy company in Iceland. In his role, he oversees the natural resource operation and management. He has been actively involved in geothermal research and monitoring for number of fields, with the aim to optimise the reservoirs potential. Guðjón holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Iceland, a M.Sc. in Engineering Geology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from University of Liverpool. He is also a chairman of the Icelandic Geothermal Association.
