Victor Luis Gonzalez graduated from Wharton School of Business in 1974 and received an MSF from Yale School of Forestry in 1977. He is widely regarded as a national conservation leader and was named Director of the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation by President Bill Clinton and later by President George W. Bush.

The Windmar Group is owned and managed by Victor González Barahona and his brother, José Ramón González. Both have vast experience in the development of renewable energy and other industries as well. Widely regarded as one of Puerto Rico’s leading industrialists, his companies have been major players in the development and construction of Puerto Rico since 1961 through the supply of construction materials such as steel, cement, concrete and PVC plumbing. Some of their companies are: Mateco, Inc., Celta Agencies, Cemento Elefante Rojo, all of which are household names in Puerto Rico’s construction industry.
