Gustavo Rieckehoff currently serves as the Director of the Energy Sector Office for the Puerto Rico Central Office of Recovery, Reconstruction and Resiliency (COR3) with direct responsibility of implementing the overall reconstruction plan of the Energy Sector alongside key stakeholders such as the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA).

Prior to serving in such capacities, Mr. Rieckehoff was responsible for the creation and implementation of energy programs that incentivized the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the residential, commercial, industrial and governmental sectors. Mr. Rieckehoff managed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) State Energy Program for the Puerto Rico Energy Affairs Administration which focused on incentivizing the energy industry and establishing energy policy. Subsequently Mr. Rieckehoff managed the Puerto Rico Green Energy Fund for the Puerto Rico State Office of Energy Policy which boosted the solar energy industry by giving out residential and commercial incentives.

Prior to these endeavors, Mr. Rieckehoff worked during his forming years in an Architecture and Engineering (A&E) firm where he served as Director of Engineering. During his tenure there, he also practiced as a program manager, project manager and electrical engineer for projects in sectors such as energy, water, telecommunications, transportation, housing, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, education and others.

Mr. Rieckehoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Mr. Rieckehoff is a professional engineer in both Puerto Rico and Florida and is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
