Rich Hepp is currently Director, Business Development for the Microgrid Competency Center. He has the responsibility for the design, construction, and operation of Microgrids for the eastern half of the United States, including Puerto Rico. Rich holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, a Masters in Finance, CEM and NY EIT. Rich began his career at Schneider Electric in 1987 and since has served the company in a variety of roles. His past responsibilities have included creating custom Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and Control equipment solutions for public agencies and end user customers. For the last 18 years, Rich led a team responsible for specification, promotion, and delivery of Power Monitoring and Control systems and advanced control systems. Most recently, Rich completed three Microgrid as a Service projects in North America, combining CHP, Solar, BESS, Natural Gas Gens, and advanced control technologies for grid tied and off grid operation.
