Sandra Dickison

International Relations Specialist


Sandra Dickison is as an International Relations Specialist with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of International Affairs. Within the Office of International Affairs, Sandra works with the Office of American Affairs where she is the lead for DOE’s engagements with the Caribbean, Central America, and regional engagement with the Organization of American States. From 2015 to 2017 Sandra was a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) with DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE) International Program. In EERE, Sandra led collaborations with Sub-Saharan Africa, Israel, and India; and represented DOE at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). During her PMF, she also completed a detail with the Office of Middle Eastern and African Affairs within DOE’s Office of International Affairs. Prior to DOE, Sandra managed a non-profit called OurEnergyPolicy.org as well as worked with GlobalGiving in the Philippines and for CapitalSource Finance. Sandra received a Master’s of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s of Arts from Northwestern University.
