Nuria studied Macroeconomics with Specialization in Energy Economics and Regional Studies of Latin America at the University of Cologne, Germany.

She is based in Santiago, Chile since 2013, where she has worked as a consultant on energy and sustainability issues for both the public and private sector, in different organizations and companies such as PwC Chile; ImplementaSur; ADAPT Chile; In-Data/CDT; and Konrad Adenauer Foundation, among others. Nuria is (co-)author of different publications related to renewable energies, climate instruments such as EU ETS, public transport in Chile, smart city solutions and green infrastructure.

In 2020, Nuria participated in the Proposal for the National Strategy for the development of a renewable hydrogen market for the Chilean Ministry of Energy.

Since February 2021, Nuria is Manager of Strategic Consulting Services in the consulting firm HINICIO in Chile, where she leads projects on different topics related to hydrogen in the LAC Region, especially studies and market intelligence; roadmaps; market entry strategies and certification of hydrogen and derivatives.
