Germán Villarroel is Head of Hinicio Chile, with profound expertise in Renewable Energy, Hydrogen use in Energy, Industrial and Transport sector, Low Carbon Ammonia synthesis based on renewables, and Decarbonization Roadmaps for Territories and Industries. Throughout his career, he has actively advised multiple GW scale projects spanning more than 15 countries, gaining invaluable international experience. With a strong foundation built over 12 years in the field of Engineering, Project Development, and Consulting, he is committed to driving sustainable energy solutions in the H2 ecosystem.

Germán also founded the Chilean Hydrogen Association, a non-profit organization that aims to accelerate the Energy Transition by promoting Hydrogen and Fuel Cell technologies in Chile.
