Yeimy Báez (42 years old) was appointed Vice President of Gas of the Ecopetrol Group in March 2020. In this position, Yeimy is responsible for leading, strengthening, and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the development of low emission energy sources including Gas Natural, LPG, Biogas and Hydrogen, which are essential for the energy transition and the Group sustainability. Shee has more than 18 years of experience in the industry of Oil&Gas, in which she has successfully performed a wide range of technical, commercial, strategic and financial. She is a Petroleum Engineer from the Industrial University of Santander, has an MBA from the Externado University of Colombia, and is Highly trained in Project Management (PMP certified). Prior to her current position, she worked for renowned companies in the sector such as Equión, BP and Weatherford.
