Victoria Florez is an international development specialist with over 20 years of experience. At the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), she spearheads partnership development and resource mobilization efforts as Acting Chief of the Office of Outreach and Partnerships’ (ORP) Resource Mobilization Division (REM). In this capacity, Mrs. Florez leads a team that specializes in identifying, developing, and strengthening strategic partnerships between the IDB Group and key actors in the public, private, philanthropic, and academic sectors to mobilize financial and non-financial resources that advance the IDB Group’s mission of promoting sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean through traditional and innovative finance instruments . Prior to joining ORP in 2008, Victoria held diverse positions within the IDB’s Integration and Trade Department, the Country Department for Central America, and IDB Invest, the IDB Group’s private sector institution. Ms. Florez joined the IDB Group in 2003 and holds a Masters in Economics from Stockholm University.
