Luiz Mello is a chemical engineer, he graduated from USP, and since 2014 he has been working as business development manager at thyssenkrupp’s Plant Technology unit in Brazil. The German group of capital goods and services companies operates in the automotive, steel, industrial plant and components and shipbuilding sectors. In the region, it has 4,200 employees and, in 2020/2021, generated revenues of R$ 4.8 billion.

Specialist in chemical process technologies, his work includes business and project management for engineering and EP and EPC type contracts for various branches of industry, such as chemicals, petrochemicals, steel, fertilizers and green hydrogen.
