Gabriel Lassery has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently a PhD candidate in Transport Engineering at Coppe/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, in the Sustainable Technologies line of research. As an undergraduate, Gabriel was an exchange student in California State University – Long Beach and Stanford University. He has worked at The Hydrogen Lab – Coppe/UFRJ since 2015 in renewable technologies, mechanical design, and vehicle electrification. Since 2020, Gabriel has been the Executive Superintendent of the Brazilian Hydrogen Association (ABH2). Gabriel is in the IPHE’s Regulations, Codes, Standards & Safety Working Group and in the ABNT’s Commission for Special Studies 067 – Hydrogen Technologies.
