Claudiana Souza is graduated in Biology, holds a Ph.D in Biotechnology and a Post-Doctorate in Microbial Diversity from University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil. She is currently Sustainable Development Coordinate at Anglo American in Brazil, being responsible for the initiatives related to climate change, biodiversity, ESG, environmental studies, circular economy, mine closure and environmental education, contributing with a long-term perspective of sustainability and an integrated vision across Businesses Units in Brazil. She has an extensive experience in environmental impact analysis and management, planning and execution of ESG initiatives specially in the mining sector.
