Green Hydrogen Development Manager
Technical Mining Engineer (specialising in Energy Resources, Fuels and Explosives) from the Polytechnic University School of Almadén, Mining Engineer (specialising in fuels and energy) from the Higher Technical School of Mining Engineers of Madrid, Graduate in Electrical Engineering from the School of Mining and Industrial Engineering of Almadén and Doctorate in Mining Engineering with an international mention from the Polytechnic of Madrid. He currently works in the green hydrogen unit of Iberdrola and as an associate professor at the School of Mining and Industrial Engineering of Almadén. Prior to these positions, he has worked as Director of Innovation at Iberlyzer, Head of the Open Innovation Unit at the National Hydrogen Centre, Head of the Consultancy and Environment Unit at the National Hydrogen Centre, Head of the Engineering and Assembly Unit at the National Hydrogen Centre and Engineer at the National Hydrogen Centre, as well as manager at a cogeneration plant with slurry treatment, as shift manager at the Cercs thermal power plant and as project engineer at Soluziona Ingeniería.
Throughout his professional career, which has been focused on renewable energies, he has designed, built and operated different energy generation facilities, making the transition from large centralised generation to distributed generation and from production plants to R&D&I. He has made a total of 50 contributions to congresses and scientific journals, all related to energy issues, has participated in four projects funded in Spain, Europe and Chile, all related to hydrogen and fuel cells. He has given more than 30 courses and seminars, all related to energy issues, and has directed a total of 25 final degree projects, all related to designs of conventional and renewable energy generation facilities.
