General Director of the National Institute of Electricity and Clean Energies (INEEL in
Spanish), From July 2019 to date.

Head of the Geothermal Department and of the National Institute of Electricity and Clean Energies (INEEL) 2015-2019.
In summary 38 years as researcher at the Geothermal Department (INEEL). Responsible of X-ray, spectrometry and microthermometry laboratories. Main topics Water: Rock Interaction in high temperature geothermal systems. Igneous and sedimentary petrology (hydrothermal system).
President and Vice-president of the Mexican Geothermal Association (2013-2015,2015- 2017).
Member of Board of Directors, International Geothermal Association (2016- 2020; 2020- 2024).
