Anh Pham

Senior Energy Specialist


Anh N. Pham is a Senior Energy Specialist in the World Bank’s Energy and Extractive- Infrastructure Department of the Latin America and the Caribbean region based in Washington DC. At present, she is coordinating the WB energy team in the Caribbean region and leading the WB programs in Dominica, Grenada and Belize.

Anh Pham holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Moscow Energy Institute, and Master’s Degree in Engineering Management in University of Technology Sydney  

Anh Pham has 32 years of experience in the energy sector, 22 years of which at the WB in East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia and LAC.  Anh Pham was WB Team Leader for the Indonesia Geothermal Clean Energy Investment Project during 2011-2015 to develop two geothermal power plants with capacity of 150 MW in Indonesia. She also facilitated technical assistance works, the results of which were included in the report-Unlocking Indonesia’s Geothermal Potential issued in 2015.  At present, Anh is WB Team Leader for the Dominica Geothermal Risk Mitigation Project. Before joining the WB, Anh worked at Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) specialized in transmission and distribution systems planning and project management.
