Gonzalo Mardones Hernández is a lawyer and Chief of Staff at Chile’s Ministry of Energy, where he leads strategic coordination at the ministerial level and supports the design and implementation of public policies in the energy sector. He also serves as the Ministry’s liaison for the AI Campus (Campus IA) project in the Antofagasta region, promoting initiatives related to innovation and technological development. In his role, he contributes to identifying public policy requirements to facilitate the deployment of data centers in Chile, as well as defining energy needs to support and enable private sector projects.
