Ioana Marins is an international business development and partnerships executive with over 15 years of experience building strategic relationships and leading high-level industry initiatives across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

As Director of Business Development at New Energy Events, Ioana works closely with governments, investors, technology providers, infrastructure developers, and industry leaders to create platforms that accelerate investment, innovation, and sustainable development across Latin America and the Caribbean. She has played a leading role in developing some of the region’s most influential industry forums focused on energy transition, infrastructure, digital transformation, and decarbonization.

Passionate about advancing diversity and inclusion in traditionally male-dominated industries, Ioana leads initiatives that promote the visibility, participation, and leadership of women across energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. She actively develops international networks and programs that foster mentorship, knowledge sharing, and career advancement opportunities for women.

Ioana holds degrees in Business Communication, Public Relations, and Management from the University of Economic Studies in Romania and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Romanian. Her international experience spans Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas, where she has built a reputation for connecting stakeholders, creating strategic partnerships, and driving impactful industry engagement.
