Brígida Miola is the Executive Secretary for Industry at the Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of Ceará and also serves as a professor in the Renewable Energy specialization programs at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR), and the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL). She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Ceará, conducted in partnership with the Senckenberg Forschungsinstitut. She also earned a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Industrial Chemistry from the Universidade Federal do Ceará. With over ten years of experience in higher education teaching and management, her work focuses on the environment and renewable energy. Since 2020, she has contributed to the development of the State of Ceará, and in 2023, she was the only brazilian woman selected to participate in the ‘Belt and Road – Financing in Climate Change’ course at Tsinghua University in China.
