Michelle Abreu Vargas is the founding partner of SAV Advisors. She is a corporate lawyer specialized in business transactions, banking & finance, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, state planning, corporate structuring, project development, energy & infrastructure, as well as on he industries of financial services, securities & capital markets, fintech, oil & gas, among other regulated markets. 

 

She regularly advises local and international clients from the public and private sector across the energy industry in the structuring, development, acquisition, investment, financing, and operation of various large-scale energy & infrastructure projects, including project developers, financial institutions, fund managers, private investors, project buyers and sellers, O&M and fuel suppliers, EPC contractors, among others. She has participated in a wide range of high-level transactions within the energy sector, including project finance, M&A and negotiation of PPAs, and stands out for her excellent institutional relations with regulators, authorities, and the main players of the electricity market.
