Paola Pimentel works for Acciona Energy in Business Development for the Dominican Republic.

Is the President of MER-RD (Mujeres en Energía Renovable RD) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Promotion of Renewable Energies (ASOFER) where she was Executive Director during the years 2019-2020.

She has actively collaborated in the promotion of renewable energy in the Dominican Republic through its participation in initiatives such as the creation of quality standards photovoltaic systems, the creation of certification schemes for installers and photovoltaic installations, among other. Also represented the private sector in the sectoral collaboration tables for issues related to climate change.

She has a degree in International Business and has different certifications as a moderator in decision-making processes in complex situations. Is currently completing a Master in Renewable Energies at PUCMM – EOI.
