Hülya has been an international sustainability expert for over 14 years. At Portland, she is the ESG Partner leading the evaluation, active management and monitoring of portfolio companies’ environmental, social, and diversity performance, and the implementation of the Environmental & Social Management System. Hülya also leads Portland’s Gender and Diversity Investment Program as well as Impact Management approach. She consulted for the World Bank evaluating the E&S performance of financial institutions, and worked in PwC’s sustainability team. Her experience in the energy sector includes wind, solar and hydro projects throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and other regions.
