A native of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Francine Baron has been a lawyer for 25 years and served as Attorney General of Dominica. She has extensive experience in the diplomatic field having served as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and as Ambassador of the World Trade Organization and to the United Nations Office in Geneva. She also served as Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs and is currently engaged as CEO of the Climate Resilience Execution Agency for Dominica’s resilience agenda, which includes leading and coordinating strategic initiatives, pursuing the sustainable use of its natural resources and ensuring that resilience is mainstreamed across all sectors.
