Chair and Regional Managing Partner
Dustin Delany serves as Chair and Regional Managing Partner for Dentons’ offices throughout the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Dustin co-leads a number of local and regional practices in addition to having oversight of the Firm’s ESG, Project Finance, and Renewable Energy transactional teams. He often advises on complexed cross-border finance transactions, including public and private M&A, joint ventures and equity capital markets.
Dustin has counselled various alternative and renewable energy leaders throughout CARICOM including Akou Energy Solutions, Deltro Electrical Ltd, Re Power (Barbados) Inc., MPC Caribbean Clean Energy, and WRB Energy Ltd. on multi faceted transactions related to geothermal, solar, and wind energy.
Highlights of his most recent work includes instructing the local team advising CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank on two independent multimillion dollar renewable energy financing transactions in Jamaica. Dustin is also actively advising on the development by a private consortium of electricity generation from wind and/or solar photovoltaic power generation facilities to supply the national grid on a build own-operate basis.
