Christian Schattenmann serves as Fund Manager and is responsible for the energy access business at Bamboo Capital Partners. Specializing in off-grid power investments, he has led multiple investments in energy access companies in both debt and equity. He has many years of experience as a board member in both startups and mid-sized companies.

Prior to joining Bamboo Capital Partners in 2007, Christian worked as CFO at PACT, a German semiconductor company. Prior to that, he was an investment manager at a venture capital firm. For over 20 years, Christian was involved in the structuring and implementation of a wide range of financial instruments. Previously, Christian also worked for an international law firm and a non-profit organization in Central America.

 A lawyer by training, Christian also holds an MBA and speaks German, French, English, and Spanish.
