Mr. Carlos Rodriguez is the President of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association for the period of 2019-2022. He is the President of Vieques Air Link, Inc., the largest Puerto Rico regional airline of local capital. A successful self-made entrepreneur since age 21 has founded four companies in the pharmaceutical laboratory equipment field between 1978 and 2005 when he sold all his businesses. Among the companies are Analytical Instruments Sales and Service, Advanced Instruments Sales & Service, Advanced Instruments de Mexico and ADCHEM Distributors.

His experience includes founding a company in Mexico City in 1994 growing to 40 employees by 2005 in that country. As a result of this successful export venture, Mr. Rodriguez was named U.S. SBA National Exporter of the year in the year 2000. In 2001 he founded ADCHEM where he developed a pioneer concept for pharmaceutical grade cGMP warehousing and laboratory services in Puerto Rico. The combined companies represented the largest organization in Quality Control instrumentation and Pharmaceutical Ingredients Warehousing in PR with over 150 employees including engineers, chemist and biologists.

Mr. Rodriguez completed the three-year Harvard Business School “OPM” Owners President Management program in 2005. In 2009 he acquired a major interest in the airline he presides. He started his voluntary service at PRMA in 1995 serving in various Board Director positions with five past Presidents and in June 2019 has been elected as PRMA President.
