Augusto Cesar Bonzi Teixeira is part of the Energy Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has M.Sc. in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University. Additional education and training from London Business School, Harvard University and Wharton Business School at University of Pennsylvania. Augusto Bonzi has more than 20 years’ international experience in the energy sector, having worked in multilateral organizations and the private sector. At the IDB Mr. Bonzi has worked in the Caribbean region, supporting countries develop projects in renewable energy, infrastructure development, and regional integration, and modernization of the institutional and regulatory frameworks in the energy sector. At the Bank Mr. Bonzi also coordinates the activities of the team related to public utilities in the electricity sector.
