Senior Program Manager, Clinton Climate Initiative
Ashley Echols is the Senior Program Manager with the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) under the Clinton Foundation where she leads the team’s grant and finance management, impact monitoring across a wide portfolio of island partners, and contributes to strategic long-term programmatic planning. She also serves as managing director of CCI’s Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) Network. Ashley is deeply passionate about the intersection of women’s issues and climate action and in her position, works to accelerate renewable energy transitions while simultaneously promoting gender equity in small island nations in the Caribbean and Africa.
Prior to this role, Ashley spent several years working for environmental non-profits, both the US and UK governments, and in academia. She holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Philadelphia University.
