Ijahlon Butler is an Associate Director in the Investment Banking Division at CIBC Caribbean, where he specializes in structuring and executing financing solutions across the Caribbean, including project finance and public sector transactions.

With over five years of experience in investment banking and financial advisory, including prior experience in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice, Ijahlon has played a lead role in several landmark transactions supporting critical infrastructure development across the region. His experience spans healthcare, energy, and real estate projects. Within the healthcare sector, Ijahlon has been directly involved in financing initiatives aimed at modernizing health systems, expanding access to care, and improving long-term financial sustainability.

Ijahlon holds an MSc in Finance from Warwick Business School and a BSc in Economics & Accounting from the University of the West Indies, and has a strong interest in the intersection of finance and development, with an emphasis on building resilient, future-ready infrastructure across the Caribbean.
