Dr. Stanley Lalta

Stanley Lalta is a Health Economist with three (3 decades experience in training, consulting, policy and operational research in health economics and financing matters in the English-and Dutch-speaking Caribbean.  His special interests are universal coverage, health financing and economics of chronic diseases. 

 He was a member of the PAHO-CARICOM Caribbean Commission on Health and Development (chaired by Sir George Alleyne).

 He is currently Research Advisor at the HEU, Centre for Health Economics, University of the West Indies and also the chief Coordinator for the  Caribbean Conferences on National Health Financing Initiatives (now in its 17th iteration).
